Montaner has received hundreds of honours, including dozens of Multi-Platinum, Platinum, and Gold records for the sale of millions of albums worldwide. He has also earned multiple Gaviota de Oro and Gaviota de Plata awards at the Viña del Mar International Song Festival, as well as the festival’s Antorcha de Plata, Antorcha de Oro and Gaviota distinctions.
He won a Latin Grammy Award for Best Tropical Song in 2021 for “Dios Así Lo Quiso,” recorded as a duet with acclaimed Dominican singer-songwriter Juan Luis Guerra.
